It’s January, and I hope you are all finding snow to play in. Here in Western Canada, some of our areas are getting record amounts. Let’s keep doing the snow dance and get snow happening across the country.
Our CANSI Facebook page has come back to life, thanks to Shane Landreville. Bravo, Shane! If you have any pictures or articles you would like to see posted, please send them to Shane at firstname.lastname@example.org.
CANSI has created a new U35 Mentorship program designed to create a forum for our younger instructors. You can also email Shane with any questions about it.
We continue to work on overcoming issues with our new website. I appreciate everyone’s patience as we work behind the scenes. Thank you to Marie, at the national office, for her continued good humour and effort in resolving things for you. We are working on a revamp of the site this coming summer.
Finally, I am working on my telemark skiing these days, aiming to pass the telemark Level III certification in March. What are your goals this winter? Whatever they are, get out there and ski, teach and have fun in the snow. It’s what we do!
